  • 1960 Studebaker Lark red vinyl upholstery

Looking for a close match to the original red vinyl upholstery. Who has done upholstery work on their Larks? Very possibly the same material on Hawks. No need to suggest Will and Lori at Starlight, never any response. Any decent sources out there? Thanks. Dan

I do not know where to find the correct shade of Red, but I can show you the pattern.
Number Two looks more correct, without the pleats looking overstuffed, and is claimed to be "Original", both MAY be reupholstered to simulate the Original, as very few perfect original examples exist today.

Yep, you're right on no. 2 stitching. They are 2 inch sewn pleats with a light color stitching. But the color on no. 1 looks closer. Dan

Picture #1 was my 60 Lark. Phantom did the upholstery.

Someone once called the grain “school bus”. I thought they were pretty much dead on as far as grain was concerned.

About 37 years ago my upholstery guy also called the NOS material for my 64 Daytona school bus material, Ed

I have some used upholstery but the split fronts have holes for headrests.
