    Cool. On mine, the section for "equipment" is blank! Absolutely no options (really). Plain Jane.

      Bill: Are you questioning the items with ?????? by them?

      If so, the 68 BUMP are a pair of front bumper guards.

      The 45 Hill Holder is a device (under the car; you'll not see it unless you look for it) that keeps line pressure on the rear brakes when you depress the clutch pedal, are going uphill, and come to a stop. It allows you to release the clutch and apply gas when the car is pointed uphill, and not roll backward. It "holds" the car on the hill while you get underway without your foot having to be on the brake pedal.

      One of our railroad enthusiasts will have to decode the sequence of carriers on your SHIP VIA line.

      That is an unusual Wagonaire you have; I hope it's appreciated. Quite rare. BP

        That's one loaded up Wagonaire! I'm envious. I sent an equally loaded up '64 R1 Powershift Wagonaire to the crusher several years back after parting it out. It was a rust bucket by SoCal standards, but it was restorable. If only I had a big barn out back, but living at the beach left me with no options.

          "Ship Via - ML NYC CBQ DRGW SP MILPITAS CONV"

          Easy enough~

          ML = Milwaulkee Road (maybe?)
          NYC = New York Central
          CBQ = Chicago, Burlington and Quincy
          DRGW = Denver, Rio Grande & Western
          SP = Southern Pacific
          Milpitas must've been where it came off the train...?

          Say- what are those last two items [?] [?] [?]

              Optional Wing Guards on each end of the bumpers.

              I picked the illustration from the '62 Accessories catalog because it was the closest.

                Good call~ I hadn't thought of those for some reason.

                  I wish I could take credit for saving this piece, bams50 and Mr. Biggs are the ones responsible (I can blame them when the wife starts complaining about time and money) as Mr. Biggs didn't part it and crush it and bams50 bought it from him and then posted just the day after I missed a 64 Wagonaire. Yes, the question marks were "what the hey" and I do thank you guys for all the info. Now the fun part, gathering all the missing items and starting the process of bringing it back to life!

                    Bill, very impressive purchase order. I would delete the key codes if I were you, however. No need to advertise those. [:0]

                        Thanks for sharing, Bill. That car was owned by a local Stude nut whose grandad was a Studebaker mechanic here locally. And he acquired the wagon from a fella in Bakersfield maybe 10 or 12 years ago.
                        As I related to you earlier, the story is that the car was special ordered thru Slavich Brothers Studebaker dealership in Fresno. Supposedly, it was ordered by someone with ties to that dealership in some way. Whether that was a family tie or an employment tie - I never heard.

                        1958 Provincial wagon
                        1953 Commander coupe
                        1957 President two door

                        No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.
