    A buddy of mine ran across this and sent it to me. Thought there might be someone here who knew/knows these folks.

    Oh yes, Mike Scherer was pretty well known for that fast Lark. Dick Dotson posted a lot of info on Mike's exploits in his newsletters/books.

      That boy could flat row a 4 speed...
      Used to wind that engine up, dump the clutch and power shift all the gears.
      Fun to watch!

        If I recall correctly, I think once he had a single turbo, 259 cid he cleaned up against big block Chevys in Monza's etc.
