  • Palm Springs Airplane Museum

I was in Palm Springs yesterday and toured the Airplane Museum. The museum is great and there's some good Studebaker content. They have two B-17's. The display model of the engine was manufactured by Studebaker. I was only able to get close enough to a couple of the engines on one of the planes but neither were Studes. They also had a '32 Dictator and a '55 Speedster! Worth a couple of hours if you are ever out there.

    Very Nice Studes.

I remember that nicely restored '32 Dictator and of course Gordon Bricken, He was a Orange Empire Chapter Member and Board Member friend in Santa Anna, CA.

The Studebaker National Foundation is a great organization to donate to, and are 501(C)(3) Certified.

I like that someone recognized the paint scheme similarities between the Speedster and Jet and paired them together.
