When I got to Lewis Park today at 2 PM people were already leaving as it was starting to sprinkle. I did spot a familiar Wagoneer and I walked up behind the owner as he was packing up and said, “oh, Studebaker, who made those, Ford, right?” With that I found out I can’t take a punch like I used to when I was younger. Although I’m sure he’s nursing a sore hand tonight! It was my good friend Bob Barrick, with his gorgeous red Wagonaire, looking impeccable, in spite of being driven in from Canada, just like always.

I love the work I do, and I love working on a major property development project, but the downside is I miss too many things. I did get to see some of the Studebakers, though, and it turns out yes, I still love them It was great to see you, Bob, I wish I could have had a chance to walk around and talk to a few more people, it was a great show in a beautiful location, combined with several other cool cars. I managed to get a few pictures, I’ll attach those.

Absolutely! At some point, I’ll slow down a little. A little that is.

And yes, of course I know how to spell Wagonaire, I love dictation, saves a lot of time, but once in a while, it will bite you :-) Thankfully, we have our edit function back, and I fixed it.

Wish I coulda made this Meet. I used to be stationed at the Marine Reserve Center on East Molloy & Townline Road. Pretty sure Lewis Park is only a few miles from there. I coulda killed a few birds with one stone, visiting old friends while there.
At any rate, looks like a good time was had by all. It woulda also been nice to put faces on screen names here on the forum. Maybe next year.

Next year I will try to plan better so that I can spend a little more time there. I definitely left disappointed that I didn't do so this year. People driving in from all over creation for the meet and I can't manage from a half hour away

LOL. I was only there maybe 15 minutes. I arrived at 2PM, which it turns out was too late, most everybody was leaving or already gone.

What do you mean by "in spite of being driven from Canada"? Why would driving a car from Canada make it appear worse than one driven to the meet from Ohio or Pennsylvania?
