Those were nice to see, im glad Paul brought them out. I really like that Black Champ also.

The Show as a whole was great and the venue was perfect. Thank you for all the hard work you put into getting everything together.

The zone meet was held in Morgantown, PA, near Philadelphia. There was a wide variety of cars there. My thanks to the hosts.

The '56 Golden Hawk below is painted Tangerine and white and is in fantastic condition. The '56 Golden Hawk engine below it is a different 56J with 2 x 4 carbs, also in great condition.

The couple who own the fantastic '57 Clipper drive it all over the country. It looks like new inside and out and has factory AC.

It's an unusual venue. It was held in/around a defunct shopping mall. When it closed several years ago, the guy that owned the attached Holiday Inn bought it, gutted it, and turned it into the Classic Auto Mall dedicated to selling collector cars and holding old car shows. Each of the old store areas is rented by an old car dealer, and the cars are always available for browsing. I believe about 1000 cars are on display. The huge parking lot provides plenty of area for car shows. There had been a big Camaro show there the week before.

The Keystone Chapter invited about 20 or 30 cars and trucks to form a special display indoors, and most of those you see above are from that group. The flea market was also indoors. The trucks you see in the background in one picture are all owned by the Grube family, which had about a dozen of their own vehicles there. They have owned Studebakers for over 100 years, and have owned many of their vehicles since they were new. The black 63 convertible with the white top is owned by Jeff Bradel. The car was originally owned by a Stude dealer in Indianapolis, and was purchased by them for drag racing -- it's an R2 with 4-speed. Bob Palma was there when that car was unloaded from the transporter back in 1963, and he helped Jeff recreate it to the way it was that day -- right down to the mismatched wheels and tires.

Thank you VERY Much Skip for the details that people like me in other parts of this Great Country have No clue about, I have never been in Pennsylvania.

A picture with little words, just leaves one wondering about "The rest of the story" !

I don't think it is on the way to South Bend, so no.
I have been in SB about 4 times, one time I stopped into the Studebaker National Museum to pick out a spot for Our 12X12 Brick in the patio by the side door where the stand up Stude. Wheel from the proving grounds is.

I think that is awesome that there are still a few people left that care enough about Old Cars to do something as fantastic as that Classic Car Mall, and show field ! We need More of those !

I think I recognize that beautiful White '61 Hawk with the Red Stripe on the Fin.
At an International Meet in South Bend I rode around the proving grounds in it, if it's the one from Penn. or near, a great Guy owned it and it had a 4 Speed with a warmed over 289 that was quite fast.
Since I flew in, I didn't have a Stude. to drive so He offered me a ride.

An addendum: all of the classic car displays were open, available, and (mostly) unattended for the whole 3-4 days of the show. Was nice being able to get up close to the cars without being monitored by a salesman. Saw a couple of LaSalles (I owned a 37 LaSalle for a long time) and at least ten Studes (mostly Hawks) for sale.

Here are a few more pictures, mostly of the indoor display that Jim Sinclair arranged.

Thanks Skip, for posting the pics and info!
It kinda took a little longer to catch my breath after the event.

Rich, I invited a collection cars and trucks that I hoped would impress the masses, 36+ in the indoor display, and I think I can say, Mission Accomplished.

We, the Keystone Chapter, again thank all who participated, vehicle owners and swap meet vendors, and all who attended.
                  It was a pleasure!

I counted 35 indoors on Wednesday, and others moved in and out over the three days. Every one of them gorgeous, and those outside as well.
I was pleased to receive a 2nd Place in my division with a car I personally restored and drove 300 miles round trip; losing to a Westmoreland restoration that was trailered.
No indoor vehicles were judged. All prior winners.
