SDC Officer Nominations - Who's handling it?

According to a recent post here by Don Jones, there are a number of SDC Officer positions that will be open next year.

Who is in charge of the nominations, and what positions are going to be open?

I've scoured the last two issues of TW and the SDC website and can't find anything.

The pres, VP, etc are elected at the IM board meeting by the board itself. Board member elections are normally held in the late fall and winter. Board member terms start/end in April. I believe the VP still handles board elections, and the last announcement was in the Oct 2023 issue of TW.

Board positions available will be elected at next years' International meet with nominations due on or before 25 August 2025. That is one month prior to the elections. No nominations will be accepted after that date. The notice for Zone Directors will be posted in October's TW and must be received by November 1st. Check the SDC By-Laws for those procedures. Please note Zone Director elections are staggered so not all Zones will be open in the upcoming election.
