  • Identifying Grille guards and parts. Set 1 and Set 2

My brother bought a vendor's remaining stock a few days ago. He got some nice items that he is trying to identify and offer for sale. If you are familiar with these items, please advise. The boxes had some photocopies from the parts book and some had instructions that were hand typed and have missing words in the installation narrative. I think I will post the pictures one set at a time. There are some extra pieces that probably go with some of these, but we aren't sure.
Set one. I think this is complete and just goes over the smaller factory guards.

    Set 2. Any comments appreciated.
I think this set has a cross piece between them. The steel brackets were in the same box. They are well made, but don't look like factory pieces. ???

I believe they are aftermarket sets. Good luck

I agree on the after market. I have a set similar that have been on my 1950 for 48 years. Mine have Helms marked on the top of the uprights. Have curved pieces from the uprights to the left and right front of the bumper and then the center piece is curved that goes under the bullet. Mine were also used on 49/50 Fords. Yours are a bit different on the curved pieces.

Also there should be a bracket that clips to the top of the factory bumper upright to hold the tall piece in place. Should be a bolt welded to the inside of the upright (vertical) that the clips bolts to.

          Thanks to both of you.
I was beginning to think there was no one lurking here who had experience with these things. I have walked by lots of them, but since I did not have a car I wanted them on, I didn't not notice the details.

I wanted to edited the title at the top of the page, but today it would not let me. Anyway, here are the others and the extra pieces that were in the boxes with no instructions.
            Set 3.
I think this is for the rear.

I think at least one of the chrome bars goes with set number 1. We aren't sure about the others. There is also this non chrome piece that was in with these. Any thoughts?

After looking more closely at the photocopy pictures with the boxes, it appears that they are copied from a dealer folder. The guards were made by outside vendors, but must have been dealer options.
