  • New wide white walls

I’m in need of new tires for my 1955 president. They have flat spots. Even though they are radials. Who have you trusted to actually get the tires you ordered. It looks like Speedway sell wide white walls. Most eBay sellers have bad feedback, on not getting the tires they ordered.

I have been using Coker WW radials on two cars. Expensive but very good.

I am on my 3rd set of Coker radial WW tires. I can't keep this set clean and one is yellowed. I never had this problem with my previous sets. My friend runs Diamond Back tires on 3 of his cars. They are always white like new. My next set will be Diamond Back.

I would recommend Diamond Back; new name brand radials with your choice of sidewall added.
You lose the manufacturers warranty, but Diamond back offers their own.

Diamond Back Classic Tires is an online tire shop that creates custom tires for classic cars. Diamond Back creates white wall tires, redline tires, blueline tires, goldline tires and other vintage tires for pre-1976 vehicles including Corvettes, Mustangs, prewar cars, postwar cars, European cars and more.

I have several cars and no longer drive very much. The tires on all of them are flat spotted every time I drive them. This has been normal for years. It usually only takes five miles or so for the tires to run smoothly, sometimes a bit longer if the car has been sitting a long time. For me this has been the case for both bias and radial tires even when sitting for only a week or two. Surprisingly, the tires on my motorcycles don't seem to flat spot, even after sitting for YEARS. Maybe its because they sit inside in the dark and the bikes are much lighter than cars.

I've never ordered white walls from speedway but have bought a lot of merchandise from them and on the occasion I didn't get what I needed ( usually my error) they were very helpful and quick about getting me sorted out.

Ok I guess Diamond Backs will get my money. I guess I’ll go with DB1, not the auburns.
The Auburns are only $120. More than DB1.

I ordered 10 tires with specific white wall size. Diamond Back is a winner, their tires are beautiful and ride wonderfully. I often cruise at 65 to 75mph on those tires. Great gripping when a sudden wet spot develops from drizzle.
