  • Would Andy Beckman know???

We all know that through the years Studebaker made training films and other filmed exploitative media showcasing the manufacturing of their vehicles.
I wonder if Studebaker memorialized or made for general interest any motion picture evidence of the manufacturing of the Avanti? This is why I mentioned Andy Beckman.

I have Avanti at Bonneville 16mm (which has been digitized) but there are no known films on the Studebaker Avanti production.

Link to a Ford Motor Company sales training video here: 1963 Thunderbird vs Buick Riviera vs Studebaker Avanti - Studebaker Drivers Club Forum

The 1963 Thunderbird was in its final year of its design cycle, and had to compete with Avanti and the all new Buick Riviera.

This news is sad indeed, such a major heralded event, and the corporation did not see fit to memorialize it via motion picture media;-(
