Personally, I take umbrage at his remark, but then one must consider the source and scale of the implied!
One should all ways look upon custom creations for what they are. Personal Inspiration. The colors, the materials, the stitching, the patterns, all assembled with an amazing eye to detail.
A purist at heart, I'm all ways intrigued when I see one of these. Least I can do is take a moment to talk to the creator and find out what in the world they were thinking of?

Whenever I am painting anything, my goal is to stay away from anything that can be construed as "team colors." If you do that, people immediately judge you based on it. That said, they did a good job and any Vikings or LSU fans should love it. Half of my cousins (and their kids) went to LSU and I live in Minnesota so I could totally see someone going crazy over this. They did a nice job putting it together, but as with any Kustom, not everyone is going to be a fan.

As there are several schools listed, maybe this car could point out the 114 year history of Studebaker putting America on wheels. I am pretty sure Studebaker is not mentioned in school studies. All the "magazine and blog experts" conveniently ignore the rich heritage of our favorite car and the innovations.
