OK, with this batch I'm getting the same problem as Rich, will not expand any bigger than posted. I tried the link and it wants me to log into an account I stopped using many years ago. Weird since the original batch all opened just fine.

IIRC, I was at the 2010 York meet. But then, it could have been Reedsville; I have a vague memory of being at Woodstock.

Thanks Brad, for posting all of these pictures. I enjoyed them very much.

I like the '53 Coupe in the Reedsville picture, especially the bald snow tire on the left front wheel. Still, for $1,500 the car must have been a heckuva deal!

First time I got to York, it was like going to South Bend for the first time - heart is all up in your throat, trying to do a quick pass through just to get a good look at everything, and then the real digging takes place.

But the most fun was seeing and talking to people you only knew from names in Turning Wheels or posts online - good times.

Moonlight Silver '64 Cruiser was my buddy Rob's - I think he ended up selling it the following year to someone who saw it at the York meet.

Great picture above rockne10. That's me on the back row, third from the left, in the brown shirt. York was a yearly ritual.

Those of us who have been around for a loooong time remember when Reedsville was the site of the Keystone National Swap Meet, when it was so crowded you had trouble getting in the door and there were vendors like Packard Farms, Restoration Specialties, SIA, SASCO and Studebaker of California; had to push your way through, and customers were three deep at every vendor table. That's when it was moved to York in March and Max Corkins organized the Fall meet in Reedsville. We had two AWESOME (inter)national swap meets right here in central Pennsylvania. "You never know what you've got 'till it's gone."
In the words of George Harrison's great song, "All Things Must Pass."

DO NOT FAIL TO PATRONIZE SWAP MEETS YOU MAY STILL HAVE! They are our heart!

Lots of memories (and familiar faces) in those pictures. I spent many a cold day vending outside at York in all conditions over the years.

Does anyone know if the bronze 2R pickup in the first group of pictures is the one Ed Ellis brought up to sell that had the supercharged engine in it?
