I wanted to put out a big thanks to Jack Vines for his outstanding help in getting my Packard V8 engine built for my '58 C cab project. It has been a very long and tortuous path. When Jack and I discussed the project back in 2017 neither of us realized what it would take to get it done. Between covid and other issues, Jack came through with an almost 400 cu in Packard V8 that Jack adapted an Edelbrock big block Chrysler EFI intake. Perhaps one of the most difficult parts was merging a Packard distributor with the electronically controlled Edelbrock top side - just an outstanding piece of engineering by Jack. Jack however said - never again and I can see why. Again thanks Jack for the great work you did. The truck is still in process, but at least the powerplant is about 80% done!

Thanks for the kind words, Dan. It's been an interesting experience doing these custom Packard builds.
In retrospect, I did the distributor conversion the most difficult way possible, but that guarantees you'll never see another one like it.
