  • Repairing ether filled temp gages?

I am doing a engine rebuild on a 1948 Studebaker Land Cruiser with a Commander engine and the temperature sensing bulb was twisted off and I would like to find someone to repair it or do it myself if it is possible to find ether to fill the sensing bulb. Anybody have anything to help me out with this problem?

If you go to Google and put in "Repairing ether filled temperature gauges" you will get a ton of hits, both YouTube videos and written descriptions. Just to make sure you don't miss some good ones, also search on "capillary temperature gauge repair".
