On a 20 Inch Desktop Monitor running 360 Color, the '62 appears to be a Lot darker, richer Gold than '64 Golden Sand, and a bit more Gold than '63 Champagne Gold, but not as dark as Tiara Gold, just Not Studebaker and certainly Nothing from '62.
However, that does not deter it from looking GOOD!StudeRich

My Champagne Gold 63 GT. I had the paint mixed very close to the original color. It is not the same color as on the Lark the OP found. The OP car could very well state Champagne Gold on the tag under the glove box and on the PO, but that is not the color on the car now.

(1) The Colors except Black, were always different each Year as well as the Color Name.
(2) Any variances in Factory Paint Batches were not enough to ever be noticed.
(3) Behind the Door Panels, on the Edges of the Doors, inside the Trunklid are EXACTLY as the Color was when New, or certainly close enough for a Color Match, No Sun, Rain, Snow, Wind or Wear there.StudeRich

Did you see if your body color label is still intact on the underside the glove compartment?
