This interesting "Stude. Addicts String" has not been updated, added to since 8/2/2024, must have dropped too far down and forgotten !

Nearly two years later, the '53 Champion is long gone, but I still own the '13 Model 25 and '53 Commander.Originally posted by mbstude View PostFun question.. Glad I’m not the only insane one in this hobby.
I’ve had 25 decent / nice ones, not including any junkers or parts cars. Three is the most I’ve had at any given time.
Here's the list in the order of model years:
Asterisk = Currently own.
1913 Model 25*
1941 Commander Cruising Sedan
1947 M5 pickup
1951 Land Cruiser
1951 2R16 dump truck
1952 2R6 pickup
1953 2R11 pickup
1953 Commander Starliner (Studillac)
1953 Commander Starliner*
1953 Champion coupe (V8 swap)*
1955 Commander Conestoga wagon
1955 E7 pickup
1956 President two door
1957 President Broadmoor wagon
1958 Commander sedan
1958 President sedan
1958 Packard sedan
1959 Scotsman pickup
1961 Lark sedan
1962 Lark sedan
1963 Lark two door
1963 Daytona hardtop
1963 Hawk R2
1964 Daytona Wagonaire
1967 Avanti
I've also acquired a '47 M16 farm truck, '57 Transtar 3/4 ton pickup, and '62 Daytona hardtop. That puts the current Stude count at 5, which is more than I can (or want to) keep up with. To simplify things, both trucks are going to new owners in the very near future.
The '13 is my "I'm going to fix it up someday" car, and I'll keep the '53 and the '62 for as long as I can drive them.
I'm ready for a break from projects. Once the '62 is done, I'll have two Studes that are turn-key and road ready, and that's good enough.

I guess "owned" covers a lotta categories. I have never deliberately "flipped" a Stude, but have sold six complete cars I just could not force myself to turn the first bolt on: three 56Js, a 53 K body V8, a 55 K body, and a 63GT. Have also picked six carcasses to the bone before they went to scrap yards: three 56Js, a 54 four door V8, 61 Hawk, and a 64 Challenger. Have also drove, with some help from a former girlfriend and later from my wife, 14 Stude drivers way over 700,000 miles, probably closer to 750,000 by now: five 56Js, one 62GT, two 63GTs, a 65 Daytona SS, a 64 Wagonaire Challenger, a 63 Cruiser, three 59-60 flat-six Larks (you could not give me another six cylinder). So total, since 1968, have "owned" 26 Studes. Nowadays, I am struggling with care and feeding of three Hawks (two GTs and a 56J) in the stable.
