Yes, they were. They required holes to be drilled in the trunk lid to mount them.

That is a Good Picture of a Pair of '55 C & K Model B/U Lights as were Standard Equipment on President Speedsters.
On many Year Models, only the needed for rear view in the Mirror, Left Side one, was ordered and installed.
