Hi Neil, couldn't make it this year due to Avanti cylinder head issues. Look forward to seeing more videos. I have not seen any other results posted other than yours. Nicely done beating that Galaxie

Hi Peter! We missed you at the race! Please let me know if you need heads to fix the Avanti. I've got a couple pair that should work for an R2.

I have video of some of the other cars running at Stanton and will make a second video shortly.

Hope to see you next year. The plan is for Robin to drive again!

Neil, Thanks for taking the time for those of us who couldn't be there.
Congratulations on both the lovely car and of course your win.
              Cheers,

It was great to see a stock 225 hp V8 beat Ford with 100 more hp. It would be good to see that car also beat a Chevrolet of similar hp. Take that big three. Nice tribute at the end of the video

To be fair... the Ford was over 800 lbs heavier than the Stude. And the driver of the Ford was a great guy too. We had a lot of fun. I highly recommend coming to Stanton to race or spectate. It is a great time and lots of people come to cheer on the Studebakers.

It was tough to not have Bob with us at the track. He would find us during qualifying to copy down our time slips. He was a great encourager! We all missed him!

Next year...Robin will be driving the 64 hardtop again. She gets a great reaction from the crowd when she runs!

Thanks for the offer of R2 cylinder heads but Rich Meadows has already sent me a pair. Great to have Studebaker friends who are willing to share and help out other owners

Thank you for the nod to Bob Palma at the end of this video. Congratulations on your runs. We are all proud, and Bob would have been beaming too. He is from above I'm certain.
