I know this photo is not an original. I am guessing it is a copy of an original. I saw a Raymond Lowey collection that had a numbered version of the same photo from his art studio. It has a copy of his signature in the lower right and is about an 11 x 17. Would this maybe have been a copy that was in a dealership? Just curious.... My son found it in an antique mall and according to the back was framed by a company in Fortwayne indiana. The frame is aluminum and was fair quality at the time it was framed I'm sure. So its not a dime store copy and frame.

It is one of the lithographs (or a copy of one) that was part of a 4 print set of which an edition of 1,000 was produced in 1975.
In 2020, the company that bought the remaining unsold sets in 1983 was still trying to sell them. They are beautiful lithographs and true to the actual Avanti and 53 Starliner, but obviously did not sell well.
The portfolio contains: 4 lithographs, each 17” x 22”. A dark red front left 3/4 view, of a 1963 Studebaker Avanti. One Front Left 3/4 view of a red 1953 Studebaker with a left side view of...
I have two of the original numbered sets (661 and 670). Here is some of the material that was included in each set. Hopefully they are big enough to read.

Now it is making sense..... That is the ad I saw it just did not have the write up you provided. I wonder if the one I have is one of the ones they talk about from the Avanti enthusiast that were unsigned. Mine does appear to be a very high quality lithograph it is just not signed or numbered. It doesn't matter all that much it is a cool piece and I like it because I have a 53...... I was just curious on the story behind it..... Now as Paul Harvey would say "I know the rest of the Story" Thanks Dick

Sorry the system interpreted your folio number. So you own on of the numbered versions of the folio? I haven't quite figured mine out yet. It does not look like a cheap copy.... in fact it looks pretty high quality. It is not one of the numbered folio's because it does not have numbers on it. The the photo definitely is the same as the 53 in the folio. I do not have the complete folio just this one photo from it. But like I said I was just curious about the photo's origin.
