I had a 1964 Gran Turismo Hawk that was sold new by that dealership.
As for the smoking part, I recommend you get a pack of Lark candy cigarettes. Careful, they may be addictive!
(Today it seems almost unreal that candy cigarettes were a thing when I was a child. What a screwed-up world we grew up in!)

Can’t quite put my finger on it, but I’m pretty sure that character was drawn by an illustrator of note & had a bit of a following in the 1960’s?

I always loved the tractor tire ashtrays at the farm machinery dealer parts counter when I would tag along with my Dad as a kid. I think the bottom of those had advertising on it but never seen due to the depth of the ash/butts !!

Smoking accessories where ubiquitous. A while back on another forum, someone posted a still from a old 60s James Bond movie where in the back ground one could see a ashtray and complimentary hotel match books on the dresser. I first traveled for work and stayed in hotels in the mid 1990s and such things were no longer present.

I have one of those Tractor tire ash trays ! Also have two different car tire ones. They were on the counter of every auto part and tire store when I grew up.
