1953 to possibly 1955 's used that Optional Rear Speaker Grille.
So those are likely 6 Volt Climatizer Motors etc.
Without looking up the AC Kit I can't be sure if the Grille fits C & K only or Sedan or Both.
But if you go in the trunk of your '55 Sedan you will know by checking the Hole in the rear rear Deck (Package Tray).
At the bottom mostly out of the picture is something from SOME Vehicle Dashboard!

Ok - l'll bite. The S-script makes it from the 53-54 era. Perhaps even 55 if it's an odd-ball piece that they had left over.
Is the script on a mesh background? It it sorta looks like l can see a straight object through it - but it may be a reflection. It seems to be painted Loma Gray - maybe. If so, then it's quite likely from 53 only.
My pure guess is a rear seat speaker cover for a '53.
Yay or nay?Roger Hill

The thing at the bottom of the picture looks like a portable multi-band radio (not for a vehicle). The yellow bar is the handle.Originally posted by StudeRich View PostAt the bottom mostly out of the picture is something from SOME Vehicle Dashboard!

The 53-55 speaker grill is for the rear deck that has a cut out for a 5 X 7 speaker. The squirrel cage fan to the right of the speaker grill could be a rear window defroster, same vintage.
Is there any way we can see more of the picture? Folks taking pictures always seem to put the pertinent information just out of the frame.

I think possibly the only Studebaker part in that picture is the speaker grille. Agree with Roy on the multi-band radio. Car radios that could be pulled out and used as portables exist, and may have been fairly popular in Europe. You scarcely ever see them here in North America.Gord Richmond, within Weasel range of the Alberta Badlands

The grille piece with mesh & S is the only Studebaker part, the rest is 60's Volvo parts, exept the speedometer that's 70's Volvo. & the ad is anyway gonne now, so thanx for the help!Last edited by Noxnabaker; 12-10-2022, 03:00 PM.
