  • Mystery 1942 Studebaker Woodie?

In the current "Woodie Times" magazine an interesting Studebaker topic has come up again. It originated in the WT April 1984 issue when the smaller image (attached file) was posted on the front cover. The only information was that it was a 1942 'Woodie'. Fast forward to November-December 2022 WT, this 2nd photo was posted but once again with no information. Just wondering if any member might be able to add some information to this Studebaker Mystery......Thanks!Click image for larger version Name:	Red Cross Studebaker.jpg Views:	0 Size:	83.5 KB ID:	1967587

The second picture is in front of the administration building.

The first picture is from Richard Quinn's collection. Maybe he can tell us something about the car.

Thanks! I came across that thread earlier. Apparently there was some information that one of the wooden body makers was cutting up old Studebaker Police cars and Taxi's during the WW2 years to make some Studebaker 'Woodies'.
