Its been a while since my last post, mostly because of a blown up 289 and a rebuild. After lots of time and work my Hawk is now running with a freshly rebuilt 289.
The block had already been machined once before and this being it's second round at the machine shop it is now a 299 new pistons, cam and lots of restored parts, now runs like a dream.
