  • This truck at SEMA is pretty radical

This is how to take the ‘dowdy’ out of a Stude pickup. I get it, it’s not for everybody.

I believe it has been stretched and widened to fit a corvette chassis.

I read the short article w/ photos on Hemmings Daily. It's a terrific looking truck, with plenty of hard work on display. I'd love to eyeball it in person. Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't the bullets from the '49 Ford and the '50 Studebaker designed by Gordon Buehrig?

A 'dowdy' Nash Metropolitan comes to mind when I look at the front of it.

While I like custom cars and appreciate the immense amount of work that has gone into it. That truck just looks like a "blob" to me. Perhaps it's the dark color that melts even the original lines and shape away.

I find this one much more appealing.

The Front end of that original Post truck has a definite Cartoon or Toy look to it, Very nice work that only the builder or owner can appreciate.

I like it. I appreciate the work and craftsmanship.......but it is a little like something out of Radiator Springs, eh? Like Tow Mater lost the hitch and got all gussied up for the prom or something!

If that was true then why do so many people who didn't build it or own it like it?

should've left the grille and headlights alone. other than that, it's pretty good.
