With the current over valued prices of the car & truck market today, I would gladly pay $600 for a cheap repaint on a mechanically sound vehicle every two years over the price of buying a new(er) vehicle. 🤨
    John,

Being in the business for a time, you know that most of the work on a paint job in prep work. I can see that the $600 paint job on a 200,000 miles Dodge Truck would be workable for anyone that it would provide a thrifty alternative to surface rust vehicle. Hence, the wash the car before the paint job. I would guess if someone were to do some light sanding and prime in spots would return a better result. No paint job will take out the dings and dents.

You are spot on with the current prices in the current market. My wife wanted to trade her 2012 Dodge Caravan. I saw today she bought a Mini Cooper. The Dodge was still good but she decided to trade. Oh well
