  • Special decal locations on super larks

What issue of SDC magazine had special decal locations for Larks and Super Larks. This included tire notations , Twin traction rear axle, TT axle lube spec and hill holder decals.
    Thanks

I am pretty sure there would Not be any articles specific to Super Lark/Hawk optional equipment Decals.

The Fluorescent Orange paper TT sticker goes on the Driver's Door, rear edge, the "TT "Lube" sticker was only on Replacement Differentials, on the rear cover.
By 1963, it would be rare that ANY other TT or Hill Holder Decals would be used at all, except possibly Introduction Dealer Showroom or Auto Show Cars.

Those often had the "Studebaker Craftsmen" Chrome & Black Decal on the Right Valve cover and the Right Door Hinge Post, but Not specific to "Super" Cars.

The Tire warning Sticker was on the inner Glovebox Door.

After 1952, I would guess about 5 to 10% had Hill Holders, after '58; dropping to 1-2 %. Maybe Higher in San Fransisco and Seattle.
Before '53, there were about 95% of Overdrive Cars with it.

If you want to check out the "Super" Turning Wheels Articles; the one's I found in the Flash Drive Index are:
    July '82
    Sept. '88
    Sept. '89
