It came out of a field in Georgia where it had sat form many years. Going to see if it can be saved

Nathanael. Anything can be saved. Just a matter of time and money and how much of each you want to invest and spend. As an old body guy told me years ago you can start with the original rad. cap and build the rest if that's what you want to do.

Looks like the start of a great project. Hopefully it can be saved, and Good Luck with it.
Tom Senecal Not enough money or years to build all of the Studebakers that I think I can.

One great thing about these Packard Hawks is that the hood and the front clip are all fiber glass. No rust and if they are damaged they are easy to repair. Also the front fenders are readily available. The most important part of this car is the front fender trim strip, Only the Packard Hawk has that. It is longer than the other hawk's fender chrome. The one shown looks pretty good. However if they are damaged DO NOT THROW THEM AWAY They are next to impossible to find. We would like to know the production number. (Mine is 1095). Dave Theibault is a great rebuilder of super chargers. I'd be glad to help if I can with any questions. Good luck.

The production number on this one is 1123. I believe most of the Packard Hawk specific items are with the car although the front trim strip does have damage an the drivers side. I will definitely be reaching out to the forum when I get this into the shop and start pulling it apart.

Dale McPherson, "The Trim Trader" has passed away. He did such a great job on mine. I'm not sure who does this work anymore but no matter how bad, if they're done properly, they look new. I think that someone in the club can refer you to someone qualified who can take care of this job for you.
