Our '53 Commander Custom recently received three nice awards at Eastern Arizona car shows. First was at Show Low, AZ, (150+ cars) Best Modified Car 1950 to Present. Second was at Run to the Pines in Pinetop, AZ, (600 cars and where we never expected to win) Pre-73 Custom/Modified Cars, 2nd Place. Third was at Just Cruisin' show in Winslow, AZ, where Standing on the Corner statue is located honoring the Eagles song. Custom/Modified 49-59, 1st place (175 cars). The White Mountain area in eastern part of state at 6000+ elevation has many events during the summer months. Here in Yuma, AZ, multiple shows are starting soon lasting through Midnight at the Oasis(900+ cars) where we were one of 13 winners in 2018, the biggest surprise yet after Best of Show at Colorado Springs Zone Meet in 2017.
