    Craig,

I know you took some great photo's of our 63 Cruiser Engine, but were you distracted by the R1 and no pic's of the great red broadcloth interior?
It's a luxurious and complementary color to the rose mist paint.

When we reupholstered it, I found a tag on the springs that says Taxi.
The car was ordered with handicap controls and air conditioning for Phoenix, so that made a good combination (firm, breathable and luxury) along with the performance for the lady who ordered it.

I'll try to find a picture to post, if I have one.

So does anyone think this will get higher than the $8000 bid a B/J for roughly the same car? If I remember correctly, the B/J car had 9200 miles on it.

I do. Purely a guess but I think it will top $8K.

James, I saw that beautiful red broadcloth interior at the same time I took those engine pics in 2004. Unfortunately you or Stephanie weren't around, as I did want to get some pics of that interior. And I don't open doors without permission, of course. I missed the opportunity again last summer as you were parked in the shaded area under the hotel in the parking area. Maybe next time!!

Those tags are funny I have started to save them from cars I part out; currently I have a reclining split bench getting covers made the passenger side seat had a tag with "taxi" on it. The rear seat from a 61 Lark hardtop I also parted had a tag the read "Reynolds" I had to save that one too. I wonder if that one was intended for a certain somebody?
