  • Desperate for a gasket 63 Lark or Wagonaire

After waiting 5 years, to get my Wagonaire painted it's finally DONE! I had collected all the gingerbread to go on her, new bumpers, emblems, rubber, carpet, etc. etc. Got a new windshield too, so i should be ready to hit the road right? Wrong , no '63 windshield rubber anywhere, the "vendors" say maybe in 6 months, of course that is what they said 6 months ago. Anybody got one?
    Parked and frustrated

I haven’t tried it, but someone mentioned that they used a ‘64 sedan windshield gasket in a ‘63. There would be some cutting and splicing involved.

No telling when the ‘63 gasket will be available again, so it might be worth a shot.

We just did inventory, and found one for the 63 Lark. They run $160.00 plus shipping. PM me here if you want it. Thanks
Tom Senecal Not enough money or years to build all of the Studebakers that I think I can.

I did what you mentioned in reverse a decade ago. When there were known problems with the 1964-66 2 & 4 door sedan screen rubbers I used a 1963 rubber and cut it to suit. I spliced and used Loctite to join. Worked out pretty good. Not perfect by know one picked it....
