  • Did the 1963 wagonaire use the Lark's bumpers and front hood springs?

A friend has a 1963 wagonaire and is in need of bumpers and hood springs. Does anybody know if the Lark's bumpers and hood spring are the same as the wagonaire? If so what years of Larks parts would be similar for a 1963 wag

1963 Wagonaires are members of the Lark family. They are the same as other 63 Larks from the cowl forward. However, I believe they used torsion bars and not springs to hold up the hood. Someone correct me if I'm wrong (don't own a 63).

Thanks for the info. Where can I find torsion bars for the wagonaire? Buck.

I never saw one fail. Perhaps they are not hooked up or are they missing?

They are missing. Or it is missing. Need to find it (them).

They may be available new from Stude Intl, but used ones are probably around, too.
