      Parts of that article were confusing if not hard to follow. I kept scratching my head trying to piece together the author's train of thought at times. Overall, it was a kind and flattering appraisal of the Avanti. As for Studebaker being a former German company. . . that's a stretch.

        I appears to be a loose translation (without the benefit of an English-language proof reader) from German, hence the errors and wrongful information. I bet the sentence is supposed to read, "Studebaker being a German family", not "company".

          Sounds like written by one of the people at car shows, cruises who tell owners about their cars or curbside experts as I call them
