  • One of the best Studebaker photos you'll see

    This photo is copyrighted, so I am just giving the link. Maybe Monomaniac would like to contact this guy about doing a cover for TW - maybe free publicity for him if nothing else. This is stunning - especially if you like GT hawks. And if you don't, you might after seeing this.

    Nice picture indeed. Interesting- it has the very rare airflow wheel covers.

            Not that I would notice the little things, but look at the golden glow of the sun in the plastic fender jewel. Is this a sunrise or sunset?

              I think it was taken in Maine, so it's probably a sunrise.

                Well...let's see here, caption does say;
                "Vintage Sunset~Cape Cod, MA" [8D]

                It's against the law to take sunset pics in Maine.
                Sunset pics in Massachusettes however are legal.

                    Wonder how much time he spent with no car looking for angles and scenery and such. Then how much with the car. And how many pics he took to be able to find the perfect one. Wow.

                      I think it would have been prettier without all the rocks, water and sky, LOL.

                          Really nice location. That view is spectacular in person. The light came out super nice on the car for the light source being 180 degrees away.
                          I'm surprised no one has complained about the white walls and Norman Bates' mother that he left displayed in the front seat, though. [}]

                            He has posted this picture on Flickr and this is what he says about it:

                            "Paines Creek is a great place to catch the sunset if you are ever in the Cape Cod area. We met a fellow photographer Jeff Turner on this trip and he suggested this place..so many thanks to him! Funny enough a few weeks after the trip, after seeing this image on my own website, he sent me a note mentioning that the owners of the hotel he was staying at owned this car(in this image they are actually in the car). So i am trying to figure out which hotel these old folks own as i would like to send them a print. So if anyone in Cape Cod comes across a white Studebaker driven by a couple of old folks be kind enough to pass on the info

                            Btw the license plates read Hawk62 and its an MA plate "
