I don’t know the particulars on this Avanti but does anyone know here if it truly was less than 7500 original miles!?

Definitely worth a watch anyways and gives a real feel for an Avanti for those of us who’ve never had the pleasure of sitting in one.

Would welcome any comments from anybody knows the history on this car.

I gave up about half way through. His description of Studebaker and Avanti wasn't too bad other than things like not knowing how to pronounce Loewy, an R3 does not have two superchargers, M-B was not connected to Studebaker in 1964. What I saw of the car appeared very nice with only a few modifications. I do not know the car, but I do remember seeing it before. I do not know about this particular car, but there are Studebaker Avantis around with less than 7K miles.

You probably shouldn't post stuff like this... I started off some years ago being a bit indifferent about the Avanti, but that has gone from appreciation to lust to full on coveting one!

Yes, the fellow who narrated the video made a number of cringeworthy mistakes, but there was some rather good commentary as well. Either way, the beauty of the car made it a worthwhile watch, so thanks for sharing!

Insofar as mileage is concerned, I'm inclined to believe it. Though I'm not an expert on Avanti authenticity, I picked up quite a few details on the car that lend credence to what is claimed. That AM/FM radio was nice to see, and those cars are stunning in black! Only thing I noticed that was off was that it didn't downshift to 1st gear when he gave it the beans from a stop. Sounds amazing, though.
