I would say there is enough there to bring this one back to life if you have the time, money, knowhow, and an understanding spouse.

Agree, as long as one doesn't ever plan to get back that time and money and is confident it won't use up all that understanding.

Notice that the listed s/n denotes an early car, and yet the header panel is of the later bezel variety.........methinks the car was "wrapped" sometime in the past;-(

I can't see the Cowl Air Inlets to tell if the "Body" is somehow a Real '64 with vents on BOTH Sides.
But it would have to have a fake Serial Number to be 63R2158 if it were a '64.

It does have the Darker Maroon Interior but not the '64 Captain's Buckles, Solid Color Interior or anything else '64, except the replaced Front Grille Panel.

Not sure what "Header Panel" or "Wrapped" means, probably not a Vinyl Wrap, maybe a Front Panel and a Wreck!

But this one definitely qualifies as a "JDP, Too Expensive to affordably Save, Cheap Avanti".

I have too many now. But like you say if you do the labor yourself, it is all "doable". Problem is....I too have to pay for parts and services that I don't do myself. I'm not about to start chrome plating.

Actually upholstery looks not too bad! Power windows are a plus. But seller positive of 92.9% on eBay is not great.
