    Another cool ad. I noticed the date of 1944. They must have been built near the end of the war. Also wonder how they propelled themselves in water, was it just the tracks spinning?

      Here's the original photo used in the ad. The tracks propelled the Weasel in water but there were two rudders at the back to steer. Here's a page from a Popular Science magazine

        I have one and in the operations manual it states" if you stall out trying to climb a mountain, simply put it in low range, first gear and drive it over the top on the starter motor".
