    I think what he said was that there were only three of that model (presumably, bullet-nose) in India. A couple of years ago there was a thread here about a man in India who had a couple of mid-50s RHD Stude pickups. He posted some newspaper ads from Hindustan Motors demonstrating that they were assembling many models of Stude trucks. Hindustan Motors assembled several thousand RHD, 4WD, 1.5 and 2-ton trucks for Indian Army during that period, and some are known to have survived.

        Pretty shiny. Too bad he does not know that his car is a 1951. It would be nice to see the firewall tag. I wonder where the car was assembled.

          He said that it was assembled by Hindustan Motors. They assembled RHD Studebakers for many years.
