  • X-Mas present

Santa Claus brought me something very special this year, a 10,000-piece jigsaw puzzle from a 1961 Studebaker Hawk
Let's see how long it will take me to turn this puzzle into a car again

Wow Martin, that is a great Christmas present! Is it a 4 speed transmission car?

Good thing the car was painted white. If it was black, it would look like a lump of coal from Santa.

When I can, I will take a photograph of your car's doppelganger in Tucson AZ. It placed 1st in Nashville International meet The owner was 17 year old Eric Willis. They drove the car back to Thatcher and went into the garage. Later Bruce Sandburg bought it and then sold it to our Tourmaster John Lewis. It has a 4 speed and A/C. John and I took a trip to Phoenix recently nice smooth ride and lots of thumbs up. It has a blue interior, and still looks like a 1st place winner in the class.

Martin, if you need any reference photos as you put it together, feel free to email us (Stephen Allen’s) and ask. The boss has one of those that he bought when he was a teenager in the mid 1970’s. It has a 4 speed like yours.

Looks like a lot of fun (and work) ahead. It's great to have offers of pictures on the box cover, so you can see where the parts go together.

Here's a puzzle with less pieces you can do while you're resting. Just can't have the same fun of driving it when you're done.

Thanks for that puzzle. I needed 5 hours for it. I guess, the Hawk puzzles needs a little bit longer
