Why does this statement from the ad just sound weird?
"They continued making the car until 1966" [:0]

That just sounds like a really stupid thing to say, while referring to the "Pointy Nosed Car"!

It's like they are saying" "that crazy Co. just kept making those same funny looking pointy nosed cars for another 16 years!"

Wouldn't anyone at all have said something like: "They continued building Vehicles (or cars) until 1966."

I went to Studebaker's Bar at Myrtle Beach in the 80s, but I didn't get any of those "Pointy Nosed Car" bills, but I don't think I want to spend the money on them now!!

Studebaker's Restaurant in the Pocono's is a great place to eat and full of Studebaker material. Owner owns a GT Hawk which is normally parked out front. Loves to have Studebaker folks come in and we do often. Always treated well with great food. Sunday Brunch is one of the best around. Keystone Region has filled his parking lot more than once with Studebakers.

He wants $2.59 to ship one to me. All he has to do is put it in an envelope with a stamp on it. I'll pass.

There is a "Studebakers" near Wenatchee, WA.
Just west of town on the way to the alpine-style town of Levenworth.

It's located adjecent to an large antiques mall.

We stopped at it when visiting the area, just after buying the Avanti so we HAD to eat there.
I was pleased with lots of Studebaker stuff on the walls. Nice place.

Plus the materials to ensure it gets to you in one piece. Guess the expression concerning Studebaker folks is correct.

I guess that you mean that questioning over $2 for a piece of cardboard and an envelope makes me a CASO. He doesn't say that he will insure it for that amount ($2.59).
