[] Wow, Michael; what a loaded wagon!

Here are a few numbers to get you started. (We have to leave to pick up our son at the airport for Christmas, so if no one else has posted in the interim, I'll look up more later):

    AC2745: Stratoline Automatic-Tuning Radio

I notice it says it has twin traction. Should it have a TT logo on the tail gate? Whoever the guy was that ordered this wagon was certainly not a C.A.S.O.

Hey Stude Michael. Would this happen to be a Colorado car?

I bought the car from Lee in Savannah GA. As far as I can tell it has been in GA most of it's life.

            Nope, none until 1958! [:0]

Edit: OPPS; I better add the never say never caveat: "Except for any special builds of late '57's or employee add-on's"!

It's lookin' good, Michael. Glad to see it finally getting worked on.

I knew that car had a BUNCH of options, if not every option available. [^] It has Air Conditioning also, though that could've been aftermarket or dealer added.

If it has been in GA all its life, it's been garaged for the most part of it. That wagon is pretty darn solid when compared to some other GA cars I know of...

The build sheet does not mention that it has power brakes. Maybe they were added later. I wish that I had received a copy of the actual production order instead of a reproduction. Is that the way the museum is processing them now?

OK, Michael; here's the balance of the AC Options.

                  AC2799: Spoke-Type Wheel Covers
                  AC2858: Back-Up Lamp Kit
                  AC2855: Front Vertical Bumper Kit
                  AC2835: Electric Clock

Yes, that is one loaded wagon! I can't say that I've ever seen a 1950s Studebaker station wagon so heavily optioned from the factory. Good show. BP

Yes, but not to worry. They are taking extra care to be certain they are now correct when retyped... unlike, admittedly, years ago when lesser mortals were copying them. BP

AC-2855 = Bumper Kit (must be front Guards) rumored to be standard on President! It must have just been almost always ORDERED.

AC-2858 = Back-Up Light Kit (Sockets, Wires, Bulbs and Switch only)

OH, Bob got back while I was typing this! [^]

Regarding the production orders: There are paper copies for all vehicles produced from 1960 thru 1966. These can be easily reproduced using a copy machine. Prior to that date they are all on microfilm so the information has to be transposed onto paper copies like the one you received for your wagon. Every few years Studebaker completely revised the production order forms. The style you have posted above with the data on your wagon was used from 1956 thru 1959. I created the blank form (above) for the museum's use by redoing an original that I had copied using a microfilm reader/printer. It required more than a few hours in Photoshop to completely redo it (I have also done other years). I can guarantee the form is correct though I cannot guarantee all of the options/accessories listed on it are correct!
