"Nice" is a subjective term. Number 1 condition means as it left the factory/dealer (usually better). To me, nice is a number 2 or 3 that would do well in most shows and in pictures. With that said, "worth" is how much someone else is willing to fork over for it. If you are looking for an insurance value and not a sale price, just go with one of the common guides.Originally posted by ronp View Postwhats a nice 64 daytona convertible worth?
EDIT: I just looked at the four pictures that you posted in another topic/thread. The car is excellent, but not a number 1 (radiator, radiator cap, battery, hose clamps). Without seeing the chassis, it is probably a number 2 or 3.
EDIT II: I now see the car on eBay. Still no underbody/chassis pictures. I see that you have a lot of eBay history, but it appears that your sales have all been inexpensive items (tops of $52). I strongly suggest you use eBay as an auction site and start your bidding at something low ($1K) and have a reserve that you can live with. This develops auction bidding action. You may be surprised at the result if you get two people that want your car. It looks like your opening bid is now what you want for the car or expect to get out of it.Last edited by studegary; 07-05-2020, 07:28 AM.Gary L.
