  • Forresters chrome

I found a NOS tail light for my 64 hawk and it made the stock one look so bad I had to send it to Jerry Forester to be re chromed. Just got it back yesterday. Now they match. Great job Jerry. I can't wait for the cowl moldings to get here. Think they will be here today. The one on the right without the wires is the one Jerry did. I will need to re wire it and ready to install.

No - think things might be a little out of focus. On another note, there are some optometrist that can give an eye exam online and mail a person their glasses...

Your ok I think its flash back on the camera. Did it twice and same both times. May try it outside if the sun ever comes out. Will wait until cowl mldgs get here. But they both look alike now a Jerry did a great job.

He did all the inside door hardware for my '53 Commander Starlight. First quality!

I am sure the Tail Lights look fine, certainly not Like a couple of SNAKES like these Pics!

I never liked the all Chrome '64 Tail Light Housings as well as the '62-'63's, though.

I know they HAD to do SOMETHING to make the '64's look different than the '62 & '63, but the narrow Chrome frame around the Lens with body Color looked WAY cooler than the All Chrome ones.
That little bit of Paint made them blend into the Fender better instead of looking "Tacked On".

I agree, but at least in 64 they finally put a gasket between the body and housing to cut down on chips!

The cowl moldings got here Friday and I found a better setting on my Camera. Will see if the tail lights come out better. Need to check with Jerry and see what is the best polish to use on it as they are a couple finger prints on them.

Speaking of chrome I received in the mail the 2 very nice nos 58-61 side grille egg crates I bought from Bob Kapteyn, thanks Bob package got here A Ok. sure didn't want to spend the money it would take to have a set of these re-chromed.
