        Still a lot more!

I started collecting back in the early 1970's. Probably 80% or more acquired prior to 1985. I will not pay the price today. As for Jim's suggestions on the lighters I am really not too big into lighters. I was unaware of the site for making the jigsaw puzzles. Looks as though it may require more work that I want to do for a set-up! To 53K: I believe those letter openers are from the teens and '20's I have a few more of them.

Too many years (and items) to recall the history of each. Many came from South Bend sources in the 1970's. Things like the prototype dash plaque for example.

Too cool, Richard! Thanks for sharing.

I keep waiting to find some trinket of a giveaway item from the local dealers here. The only thing I've found (was given actually) is a little plastic key fob. Antique shops, yard sales, descendants of the dealer - noting's yielded a trinket yet!

I know you've told me of hitting dealerships after Stude folded. Did visits of that nature yield any of this stuff?

          1960 Larkvertible V8
          1958 Provincial wagon
          1953 Commander coupe
          1957 President two door

No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

Dick , I have a question about one of your pins on the 1st display you showed.
There is one that is blue and red says Studebaker South Bend with the red ball in the middle also has 305 on it .....what was this pin for ?
I have seen one like this for Hamilton as well .

Yes, that would be a foreman's pin and the 305 is the department

That's an outstanding assortment of Studebaker items. Do you remember which was the first piece you obtained and when you got it? Thanks for sharing your collection with us....

                        Dick,

That black 64 Avanti Supercharged emblem is very unusual.
I have the R1 and R2 (same white)
                        I also have a R3 and R4 (both Black but no red/blue).
What was the black R2 one to be used for?
                        Interesting stuff!

I enjoy the older stuff. It has a lot of "character."

Richard i can't thank you enough for all you have devoted to Studebaker and the SDC. your one in a million.
The badge that intriqued me was the black R2 emblem. never seen that, was it a prototype or something out of Hamilton?

                                Amazing Richard,
I've gone through all the pics a few times. What a wide variety! That's it, I'm going back through them again. [8D]
