Opps, Craig you got the Champ wrong, the T4 is the Standard Cab! [:0]
    OH ! that's right you're a "C" Cab guy!
That's right, Rich! The C4 in the C-Cabs are Deluxes and the C2's are Standard cabs.

That is a rare color. I've never seen a convertible that color. Body made up just after mine, too. If it's like all your rusted car bodies, Matthew (see '53 hood fit-Ute thread) the hood probably fits better than mine.

Obviously, no one in your neighborhood won one!!

Back in 1975 I found a Gulfstream Blue '60 Lark convertible in a junkyard not far from my place. It was last on the road in '68 but had only been brought to the junkyard more recently than that. The top was okay and although the car had a fair amount of typical rust in the usual places, it could have been restored. I wanted to pay the yard owner $75 for it but he wanted $150. After thinking it over for about 6 months I went back ready to pay him the $150 and then he said the price was $300. I wasn't going to pay those games so I gave up on the idea. You have to recall that you could find running, driving (rough) Lark convertibles in Turning Wheels then for less than $300.
The junkyard still exists, and I saw the Lark there this spring for the first time in over thirty years. There is almost nothing left of it, including the Gulfstream Blue! Should I have bought it? No, not at the time. But now I sure wish I did anyway!
Sorry for the hijacking of the thread. This gives me an idea for another question which I'll post separately.

            Hi Matt,
if your travelling into the junkyard soon, stop by those 2 commander hardtops and get me the serial number off them for the registry. I know they are toast, but I want to record them. I got your builder hardtop before, but not the junkyard dwellers. Thx.
