Just need a candidate (58 Scotsman 2 door), more space, a few more tools, and some extra cash...Should not be a problem at all.

Maybe someone else will buy it. Nope still there no wait it's gone. Oh now it's back. Oh shoot I'll just make them an offer. They probably won't accept it. Wow the did! Now I have to find the money. Let's not forget about telling the Mrs. Got it home and time to unload, don't really have the right equipment but got the job done. It's in the garage (vault) and I' m feeling better now. I could see that engine in a '57 Packard Clipper Town Sedan. S-P (perhaps) could have built extra 352 or 374 engines during 1956, for the '57 Clippers. Pontiac built extra 400 CI engines in 1978 and stockpiled them for the next year's Trans Ams. The Pontiac 400 was going out of production, so they built extras for the 1979 models.

The 289 (normally aspirated) could have been the standard engine in the '57 Clippers, with the 352 optional. Better yet, S-P could have made the 352 standard, which might have helped to convince the buying public that the '57s were real Packards.
