        Could be that he tried to sell the car and everyone gave him the excuse of not wanting to spend the gas on the trip. After all, he's almost as remote as I am in South Dakota.

            My explanation is in the other post. Hey, if anyone wants the whole car to do with as they please I am open to offers. Let me know and I'll send any pictures you want. Read the other post regarding the engine.

              My reason was simple, they only made about 2500 of the 1966s and if folks keep "parting them out" there will be none left.

                That 66 seems like an easy restore! You could just bolt in any Chevy 283-350 CI Small Block. Why in gods name would anyone want to part that car out. It would be a disaster if that happened.

                  He is willing to sell it whole. E-mail him. I just bought a '66 Cruiser, so its out of the question for me. Otherwise, I would.
