This is in Grantsville. Apparently the city/county wants to build some low income housing. They are , if they haven't already, going to condemn the place and take it under eminent domain. It really puzzles me how they can do that but I guess they are. I never thought about "giving them away". I may run out there tomorrow and quiz him about that. There has to be a way to save these things. There's a ton of other really good stuff out there. Really frustrating to see this happen. I'll ask him if he's interested in taking calls. I told him I was going to put this picture on the forum and he seemed interested. I don't know the whole story but I think he may be in some kind P-ing contest with the city/county. Weird!

It kills me that in all those thousands of acres in that photograph, they have to pick on this ONE. I counted 8 C/K coupes (including the GH).

I always presumed Utah was one of those states where you could settle in, mind your own business and be left alone. I guess I was wrong. You'd figure with "eminent domain" they'd at least offer a relocation somewhere down the road...so sad.[V]

        I'll be there's more to the story...[}]

Looks like a 63 Lark towards the end of the row in Utah. Looks like a Champagne Gold one too. [] Even has bumper guards.

There's about 6 or eight larks lined up right behind that pickup you see on the left.

If this yard was shut down to make way for housing, were these vehicles moved to another location? I just did a satellite scan of Clarksville. I see at least three large salvage yards - one of them with some pretty old iron in it. There's a lot of open ground around there. Seems like he could have picked up ten acres or so cheap and moved his operation for what they paid him when they took it over.

With a background change, this picture would look to Me like one of those 'old car dream' calendar prints----- unbelievable!
