        RE the Lark. Why would it have BA on one window and CA on the other side? I would guess that BA is B/A or B altered?

          Looks like they white washed the letter "B" over the "C" decal. If you look closely, you can see the border of the "C".

            It looks like, as long as the tower was on your RIGHT, you are good to go, probably in "B" Altered! Lol!

            It may depend on if you were at a NHRA or AHRA strip.

            Also I think NHRA used the Formula numbers to determine Transmission type etc. not the letter "A".

                Well Bob; you may call it ridiculous, but that is how a REALLY fast Drag Car looked in the day! [:0] If you radius-ed the rear fender wells, you could drop the rear a bit, but maybe it was closer to 1961 than we think, and the car was too valuable to "cut it up"!

                That thing could have a big Block 348 or 409 under the hood, in Altered class around 1963-65!

                I like it too, but for a different reason, I don't think it is funky, funny, weird or anything else! [^]
