  • windshield frame for a 34 roadster

hello, does anybody have the steel windshield frame for a 34 roadster? Is there another car manufacturer that made a frame that would work? Thanks, Frank
Hey guys, thanks for the help. Some additional info. the windshield frame is steel and the car is a 34 not a 32(my bad!) and no, it is not 32 feet long (thanks all you English majors out there!) It is an 8 cylinder and the model is a President roadster.

Frank, these guys are usually much nicer than this, I promise. On your first post you get 6 more questions and one smart remark. Geesh!

          They normally greet you with:

Frank, it's great to have you here on the forum!! Please join the Studebaker Drivers Club and get the Turning Wheels magazine every month. It's really fun to read and has loads of info in it. Glad to have you here and hope you love your Stude like we do.

Anyway, that's what usually happens. Didn't happen with me either. So we are in the same club, too.

          Welcome.

ps -- I know nothing about pre-war cars, so I can't help you.

            Frank,
I sold this 1932 President Roadster windshield assembly to a club member in Mass. a couple years ago. I'm not sure if he still has it or has used it but he may be able to help with the frame you are looking for. Send me an email: dpson1954@comcast.net and I'll send the contact information.

              Right, Bob.

Sorry, Frank, just being a smart aleck. That happens sometimes. No offense intended.

              Good luck finding your part.

                Welcome, Frank.

We do enjoy having a little fun amongst us but, Richard's initial response was not facetious.

                It does make a difference.

Not trying to be a smart a$$, but I have the outside part of that in brass but not the inside piece that holds the glass itself. The outside is made in 2 pieces.

Bob, thanks for the description, but I'd rather choose my own shade of paint, thank you.

frank, if you haven't cowered somewhere already, you need to be more specific. And more to the point - you might have better luck asking the group at the Antique Studebaker Club. While not stringently adhered to, SDC focuses primarily on postwar (WWII, that is) Studes.
