No, but that is the first time that I have seen a "Sweepstakes" Champion 6. [:0][B)] I guess they needed one with a little extra power to move around the extra weight of the wagon.

Well, Gary; it is a Sweepstakes 185. Just check out the "decal" on the spark plug wire routing tube on the left side of the engine![:0] BP

Looks like one that was on e-bay 2 times in the last two years. Can't say for sure. The one I have seen was from a New England state, can't remember which one.

I saw that one earlier today and remembered one just like it a year or two ago- looked just like it, same colors, and also in NY...

That one turned out to be good on top but had a SEVERELY rusted frame[xx(] If you're interested, insist on photos of both sides of the frame above and behind the rear axle, showing the inside of the rails.

They were all Sweepstakes, except the Golden Hawk engine in 56.

It certainly looks to be a beautiful car![:X] However, if it's the same Pelham that was on e-bay last year, it's a femme-fatalle.[}] The seller, on the other-hand, seems to want to make clear that the car's condition is excellent and dispel any connection to the 'other' car:

The owner originally tried to auction the car in complete honesty. It's just that he was upside down on the car and wants someone else to take the loss. Pity really, but there it is.

There it is!!! I was looking for that as well. When you read that thread you'll see what we mean. Also be sure to note how old that thread is!!! Unfortunately I didn't save any of those pics from that first ad, so you'll have to use your imagination. It is interesting to note that he's put that very same line in all following ads (at least 3 or 4) for this car. This is the same Pelham- don't let him BS you into thinking otherwise...
